RedFlare

Settings

Settings is where you make RedFlare feel like yours. From here you can manage your workspace appearance, set the timezone that drives your dates and reminders, and replay the guided tours that help you find your way around.

When you open Settings, you land on the Preference page. Its header sums it up: Manage workspace appearance, timezone, and guided tours. The page is split into two areas, Display & Region and Product Tours, each grouping a handful of self-contained controls.

What you can do

  • Switch your workspace between Light, Dark, and System color schemes.
  • Set the Timezone used for dates, reminders, and activity logs.
  • Localize how the platform looks and displays data for your environment.
  • Replay the Welcome Tour for a quick refresher on the interface and navigation.
  • Restore the step-by-step Features Guide walkthroughs for modules you've already completed.
  • Carry every preference with you, so your account looks and behaves the same wherever you sign in.

How it works

Each setting saves on its own and follows your account everywhere. Every choice on the Preference page belongs to you, not to the whole workspace, so there's no form to submit and no risk of one change overwriting another.

When you pick a theme, RedFlare applies it right away and saves it for you. If a save can't go through, the workspace flips back to your previous theme and shows a brief error, so what you see always matches what's stored. Your timezone and the rest of your preferences save the same way.

Because your preferences are tied to your account, your theme and timezone follow you from device to device and session to session. The page also remembers which tours and feature guides you've finished, and the two buttons under Product Tours simply bring those guides back as you move through the app.

Open your settings

  1. Find the account menu in the app.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. The Preference page opens with two areas: Display & Region and Product Tours.

Change your theme

Under Display & Region, the Theme row lets you Choose your workspace color scheme.

  1. Open the theme dropdown (it shows Select a theme when nothing is chosen).
  2. Pick one of:
  • Light
  • Dark
  • System (follows your device's appearance setting)
  1. Your choice applies right away across the workspace and is saved to your account.

Choose System if you like your apps to switch between light and dark automatically as your device does throughout the day.

If a theme change can't be saved, RedFlare flips you back to your previous theme and shows a short error. Just try again, the interface and your stored preference always stay in sync.

Set your timezone

Still under Display & Region, the Timezone row controls the time reference for your account. It's Used for dates, reminders, and activity logs.

  1. Open the Timezone dropdown.
  2. Type to search, then select your timezone from the list.
  3. Dates and activity timestamps update to match.

Setting the right timezone keeps reminders and activity logs accurate, so events line up with your actual working hours.

Replay the guided tours

The Product Tours area lets you Replay onboarding flows and restore step-by-step feature guides. This is handy when you're getting reoriented or showing a teammate around.

Welcome Tour

The Welcome Tour gives you a Quick overview of the interface and main navigation.

  1. Find the Welcome Tour row.
  2. Select Replay Tour.
  3. RedFlare clears the "tour completed" marker on your account, and the walkthrough starts again from the beginning.

Features Guide

The Features Guide lets you Restore walkthroughs for completed modules.

  1. Find the Features Guide row.
  2. Select Restore Guide.
  3. The step-by-step guides you've already dismissed become available again as you move through the app.

New to a part of RedFlare you haven't used in a while? Select Restore Guide before you dive in to bring back the in-context hints for that area.

Tips

Your preferences travel with your account, so the theme and timezone you choose here follow you wherever you sign in to your workspace.

Changes on the Preference page save as you make them. Each setting is stored on its own, so there's no separate save step and you can adjust one option without affecting the rest.
