Organization
The Organization screen is where you manage your organization's identity: the logo that represents you across Stratforge, your organization name, and the URL your team uses to reach the console. You'll find it under Organization in the console navigation.
Everything here is account-wide. A change to the name, logo, or URL applies to every product and every member in your organization, so these are settings you'll set once and revisit rarely.
Editing organization identity is an administrative action. If the fields below are read-only for you, you don't have the access level required to manage the organization. Access is governed in Access control.
The screen is split into two sections: Identity (your logo) and General Information (your name and URL).
Identity
The Identity section manages the logo used across the platform and services. Your logo appears wherever Stratforge represents your organization, so a clear, recognizable image helps members confirm they're in the right place.
Upload or replace your logo
Use Update to choose an image from your computer. Upload a PNG or JPG image. A preview opens so you can confirm the image before it's applied, then the logo is saved to your organization.
The logo is displayed in small, often square containers throughout the console. A square image with a transparent or solid background and good contrast reads best at small sizes.
Remove your logo
Use the remove action to clear the current logo. You'll be asked to confirm, because the change takes effect immediately. Once removed, Stratforge shows a generated placeholder image in place of a custom logo until you upload a new one.
General Information
The General Information section manages your organization name and URL so they stay accurate and consistent for everyone.
Organization name
The organization name is the human-friendly label for your organization. It's shown to members across the console and in places where Stratforge needs to identify your organization by name.
To change it, edit the Organization name field directly. When you make a change, an unsaved-changes banner appears with Save and Reset actions:
- Save writes the new name. You'll see a confirmation when it succeeds.
- Reset discards your edit and restores the current name.
Give your organization a clear name that members will recognize.
Update the name when your organization rebrands or when the current label is ambiguous to members. Renaming is safe and instant; it doesn't affect sign-in, the URL, or anyone's access.
Organization URL
The organization URL is the web address your team uses to reach Stratforge. You choose the unique part at the front, and Stratforge adds the rest of the cloud address, for example https://your-company.cloud.stratforge.com. Only the front portion is yours to set; the rest is fixed.
The URL field shows your current address. Selecting it opens the Change organization URL dialog.
This is the most disruptive change on this screen. When you save a new URL:
- The old URL stops working immediately. Bookmarks, saved links, and anything pointing at the previous address will no longer reach your organization.
- You're signed out and sent to the new address to sign in again. Other members will also need to use the new URL the next time they sign in.
Treat a URL change as a coordinated event: pick the final value, then tell your team the new address before you save.
Choosing a new address
In the dialog, type the web address you want. The fixed parts of the address - the https:// prefix and the .cloud.stratforge.com suffix - are shown on either side of the field so you can see the full URL as you go. Choose a short, lowercase address; Stratforge checks availability as you type and shows the result inline: checking while it looks, URL is available, URL is not available if it's taken, a note that the URL is unchanged from your current one, or an error if the value isn't valid.
Confirming the change
Saving takes two steps. The first time you select Update, Stratforge shows a warning that summarizes what's about to happen: you'll be signed out, and you won't be able to change the address again for a while. The button then changes to Confirm and sign out - select it to commit. If you edit the address after that warning appears, the confirmation resets so you can't accidentally commit a value you didn't review.
When the change is saved, Stratforge takes you to the new address to sign in again.
You can only change it occasionally
After you change the URL, it's locked for 30 days before you can change it again. During that window the field is unavailable, and hovering it shows when the next change will be allowed - both the number of days left and the exact date.
Because you can only change it occasionally, plan the change so you don't need a second attempt. Decide on the final address, confirm it's available, and coordinate with your team before you commit.
